The Milwaukee Wave of the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) has announced the contract extension of Forward Marcio Leite, and the signing of Pablo.

"If Marcio can stay healthy he has the ability to be one of the top forwards in the MISL. Probably the best one-on-one player as he can create something out of nothing," said Head Coach Keith Tozer.

Leite missed the next season with torn knee ligaments. He returned to the Wave for the 2010-2011 season and was named MISL Player of the Week November 17. After a successful 2011-2012 season for Leite, he was named to the 2011-12 All-MISL Second Team. He was named the MVP of the 2012 MISL Championship Series, along with being a finalist for the 2011-12 MISL MVP Award.

Last season, Leite appeared in 15 games, had 5 goals and 30 points for the Milwaukee Wave.

Midfielder/Forward, Pablo Da Silva, signs 3-year contact with Milwaukee Wave.

Former Chicago Soul FC midfielder, Pablo, returns to the Wave after spending just over half a season with the Soul. Pablo signed with Chicago mid season in January 2013 and only played in 13 games, where he tailed 5 goals and 16 points.

"We're happy to have Pablo back with us. We're looking for him to play a dual roll both in the midfield and defense. His great technical ability helps with our possession game and breaking down defenses," said Head Coach Keith Tozer.

The experience midfielder has earned many titles in his soccer career, including MISL Championships with the Baltimore Blast in 2009 and Milwaukee Wave in 2011. Pablo has competed at a worldwide soccer level when he played on the World United Futsal Team in 2009, in which he earned MVP honors in the 2009 Futsal National Cup in Portugal. Adding to his experience, in 2008 he played for the Brazilian national team in an arena soccer tournament in Monterrey, Mexico.

The Milwaukee Wave opens up the Regular Season on the road against the Missouri Comets on Saturday, November 16th at 7:35pm.
