Resolve to take control of your breast health in 2014

More than 45 percent of Americans resolve to make healthy lifestyle changes each New Year. Many of the most common New Year's resolutions are also great ways to help reduce the risk for breast cancer.

Here are 10 popular New Year's resolutions and how they help reduce your risk of cancer and live a healthier life.

Through Kohl's Conversations for the Cure and the Southeast Wisconsin Affiliate of Susan G. Komen, local women are engaging in conversations in their own communities to educate others on the importance of regular breast health screenings.

Amberlea Childs, program director for Kohl's Conversations for the Cure, and her team have educated nearly 7,000 women to date in Southeast Wisconsin.
