On Saturday, Glendale police officers were called to Boston Store after Shaw and another man selected $535 in merchandise and tried to buy the goods using a stolen credit card number taken from a Utah man. Although the credit card had Shaw’s name imprinted on it, the number was to the account under investigation and the store has seen a rash of similar incidents.

After the card was declined several times, Shaw told an employee he would need to call the credit card company, then took the card and left with the other man. Shaw was found in the parking lot in an SUV with the credit card inside.
