Antique, Sterling Silver Tea Set Missing From Fox Point Home

The five-piece set is valued between $3,000 and $7,500 the homeowner told police, who are still investigating.

A Fox Point woman reported her antique, English, sterling silver tea set missing to Fox Point police on Sept. 11 at 3:30 p.m.

The 1950’s, English-style set is valued between $3,000 and $7,500 she told police.

She said the set had five pieces including a tray, tea pot, a creamer covered sugar bowl and an open sugar bowl, according to the report. She didn’t know the exact date of the theft, but has had some painters in her home recently. She said she didn’t feel comfortable with two of the painters because she thought she could smell alcohol on one of them. She said the set was given to her by her mother-in-law about 15 years ago.
