Bayside Police Assist in Apprehending Man Convicted of Armed Robbery

Milwaukee man has a long criminal history, including multiple armed robberies, drug possession and carrying a concealed weapon.

A 22-year-old Milwaukee man with an outstanding U.S. Marshal's warrant for armed robbery was apprehended by Milwaukee County sheriff's deputies and Saturday morning on Interstate 43 near the county line.

According to the report:

A Milwaukee County sheriff’s deputy initiated the traffic stop around 12:05 a.m. Saturday when he noticed a speeding car traveling northbound on I-43 without any headlights on. He pulled the vehicle over and ran a query and found that the passenger, William E. Jenious, was wanted on a federal warranted for on bank robbery charges.

The federal criminal complaint shows that Jenious was arrested in October 2008 for armed robbery in Brown Deer when he gave a Tri-City National Bank employee a note that said, "give all the money at bottom drawer, no fake bill no marked money! quickly, quietgly (sic) or else!" He escaped with $9,670, the complaint said.

Jenious has a criminal history of arrests for other armed robberies, drug possession and carrying a concealed weapon.

Additional squads from the sheriff's office and the Bayside police responded for the high-risk felony stop. One deputy aimed his firearm at the car’s occupants, who were detained without additional force. The driver was released from custody and Jenious was taken to Milwaukee County Jail.
