  • Crews responded to an alarm at a business in the 300 block of West Brown Deer Road about 1:30 p.m. July 11. No fire was discovered; a work crew on the scene was cutting concrete, and when the bag collecting dust on a shop vacuum broke, that dust set off the alarm.
  • An alarm was set off in the 9500 block of North Wakefield Court in Bayside about 12:30 p.m. July 13. When firefighters responded, they found a company spraying foam insulation in the basement. Water vapor from the process was assumed to have triggered the alarm.
