Charges Filed in Fox Point Bank Robbery

A 27-year-old Arizona man allegedly robbed Chase Bank on Aug. 21.

A 27-year-old Arizona man was arrested after robbing Chase Bank in Fox Point last week.

Terry Shields, of Tempe, AZ, allegedly walked into Chase Bank around 1:20 p.m. on Aug. 21 and approached a teller with a note that said "Give me all your money. No dye packs." As the teller was gathering money out of her cash drawer, Shields said "That's good enough" and ran out of the bank with the money, according to a criminal complaint.

A Bayside police officer caught up with Shields as he was driving westbound Brown Deer Road toward River Hills. Shield turned right onto Range Line Road, and parked in a driveway in the 8800 block of Range Line road. Police conducted a high-risk traffic stop and found a large wad of cash in his front pocket.
