Cleaning Crew Cleaned Out Purse, Cops Say

The suspect made off with $203 in cash, credit cards and Boston Store gift cards. Security footage shows him using the gift cards at Mayfair and Southridge Malls.

A 26-year-old member of a cleaning crew is accused of stealing cash and credit cards out of a purse left at the iPic Theater at Bayshore Town Center.

Glacier Dean Goudy, of West Allis, was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Thursday with one count of theft. If convicted, he faces up to nine months in prison and $10,000 in fines.

According to the criminal complaint:

On Dec. 16, a woman went to iPic to see a movie and accidentally left her purse under her seat. An employee found the purse after the movie and put it on a shelf in a coat room where lost items are held and the next day the woman came and got the purse.

However, the woman noticed $203 in cash, credit cards and Boston Store gift cards were missing from the purse. The theater manager checked security footage from the night before and found Goudy, who worked for Eagle Cleaning Services, enter the room without cleaning supplies and later emerge.

Glendale police officers discovered the gift cards were used at Boston Store’s at Mayfair Mall and Southridge Mall. Security footage from the stores showed Goudy coming in and using the cards.

Goudy was assigned a $250 signature bond while awaiting trial.
