Crime Corner: Drugs, Drunk Driving and Trespassing

Reports from the Fox Point and Bayside police departments.

After yelling at his friend for letting officers search their vehicle, a Grafton teen was arrested when that search turned up marijuana.

On Aug. 24, the car turned into , 8825 N. Lake Dr., however, at 2:20 a.m. the church is closed. After the car made a few quick turns down some local streets including Pelham Parkway and Buttles Place, put on their blue and reds and pulled the vehicle over.

The driver, an 18-year-old Mequon man, did not have any warrants or a criminal record. However, the passenger, later identified as a 16-year-old Grafton teen, only could verbally identify himself as he did not have a drivers license. The driver provided the passenger's date of birth to the officer, however it was incorrect because nothing came back with that name and birthdate.

The driver told police they were looking for a gas station, but the officer reminded them that they had just passed three of them. The driver said he didn't think any of them were open.
