Crime Corner: THC, Fender Bender and Doctor's Park

At 1:58 a.m. June 5, a officer noticed a vehicle heading eastbound on West Brown Deer Road with one headlamp out.

The driver, a 24-year-old Bayside man, had an outstanding warrant through Ozaukee County for possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia.

During the vehicle search, officers found a large glass pipe with burned marijuana residue and two smaller glass pipes also commonly used to smoke marijuana, according to the report. All three were seized and secured. The driver was arrested and his vehicle was towed. He was then turned over to the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Department and cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and operating a motor vehicle without required lamps lit.

  • At 3:08 p.m. May 31, Bayside Police found a 20-inch, boy's, six-speed bike, “Precision Drive,” abandoned in the 9400 block of North Broadmoor.
  • At 10:20 a.m. June 1, Bayside Police cited a 63-year-old Stevens Point man for parking on the lower level of Doctor's Park. He was given a $114 citation.
  • A total of 40 used brake rotors were stolen from , 310 E. Brown Deer Rd., on June 2. The victim said they had to have been stolen between 7 p.m. June 1 and 8 a.m. June 2. 
  • On May 24, a 75-year-old Brown Deer woman was attempting to merge onto Interstate 43 from Brown Deer Road. She stopped, and was struck from behind by a 22-year-old Milwaukee woman.
