Drunk Driver: "I Bet I Am At Least a 0.24"

A Fox Point woman's guess about her BAC was surprisingly close to the mark when she was arrested last week.

A Fox Point woman accurately predicted that her blood alcohol content was more than three times the legal limit when she was pulled over on Port Washington Road early Friday morning.

A Fox Point police report indicates the woman's vehicle was swerving into the opposite lane while driving northbound on Port Washington Road at 2:31 a.m. Friday. The officer pulled her vehicle over in the 7600 block of Port Washington Road. The driver told the officer she had five drinks earlier in the evening at the Wisconsin Club, but hadn't had a drink since 12:30 a.m.

The woman was unable to locate her driver's license and cried several times during her interaction with officers. She also was not wearing a seatbelt. She told police officer that she knew she was over the legal limit, sayingΒ β€œI bet I am at least a 0.24.”
