Drunk Teenager in Open Pantry Parking Lot

went to perform a welfare check at , 501 W. Brown Deer Rd., because someone saw a man laying in the grass.

The man turned out to be a 17-year-old Milwauke teen who was sitting on the curb when officers arrived on Friday, at 11:45 p.m.

While speaking with officers, the teen verbally identified himself and his age. During the conversation, officers could smell alcohol on the teen's breath, and his speech was slurred. When asked who his friends were, he said, “I don’t even know, I just met them a week ago.”

The teen consented to a preliminary breath test, which came back with a blood alcohol content of 0.206. He was arrested for underage alcohol consumption.
