Fidgety Cudahy Man Busted With Pot Tries to Literally Hide Behind Puerto Rican Flag

A 22-year-old Cudahy man was pulled over for a burned out taillight. When the officer tried to talk to the man, he pulled out a Puerto Rican flag and tried to hide his face.

A 22-year-old Cudahy man was arrested for marijuana possession after police noticed his burned out taillight. His reaction after being pulled over was a bit unusual.

According to the report:

A officer was driving north in the 8500 block of North Port Washington Road about 2:30 a.m. on May 19 and saw a car heading the other direction with a burned-out taillight. When the officer turned his car around, the other car sped up.

The officer pulled him over and when he approached the car, the windows had a very dark tint so it was hard to see inside. He noticed the driver seemed very agitated because he kept moving around, looking backwards. When the officer got close to the window to speak to the man, the driver used his hand and a Puerto Rican flag to block his face from sight.

He rolled down the window as requested by officers and another officer caught sight of possible marijuana inside the car.

Police searched the car and found a knotted, clear plastic baggie with a green leafy substance on the front passenger side floor, which tested positive for THC. He was arrested for possession of a controlled substance-THC. He was also cited for operation after suspension and a 15-day correctional citation for defective tail lamp.
