Roughly $1,325 in damage was done during a late-night vandalism spree in Fox Point last week.

Four mailboxes valued at a total of $525 were damaged on the east end of the village in the early morning hours of May 22. Two of the mailboxes were located in the 7800 block of Lake Drive, while the others were located in the 7600 block of Lake Drive and the 7600 block of Beach Drive.

In addition to mailbox vandalism, one home on Beach Drive also had a baseball backstop removed from the yard and placed in the middle of the road. The irrigation of a trellis garden was also pulled out of the ground. The total damage to that property totaled $500.

In the 7800 block of Beach Road, two lawn lights valued at $400 were pulled from the ground. The lights were anchored in cement near the beach area. On Club Circle, a 25 mph speed limit sign was removed from the roadside and placed across Lake Drive, near the Hyde Way intersection.
