Glendale Teen Charged After Breaking into Fox Pont Garage
Woman was coming home Sunday when she saw the suspect running down her driveway.
A Glendale teenager is facing charges after he was caught breaking into a car parked inside a Fox Point garage Sunday.
John Simon Danner, 17, was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Tuesday with one count of criminal trespass of a dwelling and one count theft. If convicted, he faces up to 18 months in prison and $20,000 in fines.

A woman living in the 200 block of West Indian Creek Court was coming home Sunday when she saw Danner running down her driveway and getting into a SUV and driving away. She then went and looked in the garage and found her husband’s car door was ajar and his wallet and some changes was missing.
Police traced the SUV back to a friend of Danner, who told investigators the two had been in the area looking for garages to break into. Danner was later interviewed by police and admitted to taking the items.

Danner made his initial appearance in court Wednesday and was assigned a $200 signature bond.
