Knife, Crack Pipe Found on Alleged Vodka Thief
A man who allegedly stole four bottles of vodka from CVS last week had more than a retail theft citation to be worried about.
When Fox Point police arrested a 37-year-old Milwaukee man for stealing vodka from CVS Pharmacy last week, they also found a crack pipe in his hand and a small blade tucked under his sweatshirt.
According to the police report, CVS employees saw the man steal four bottles of vodka from the store at 4:29 p.m. on Jan. 27. Fox Point police later pulled over the suspect vehicle on Good Hope Road as it was merging onto the southbound I-43 ramp.
The man driving the vehicle told police he did not know what his passenger – the alleged thief – had done, until the traffic stop. When police pulled the vehicle over, the passenger started hiding liquor bottles in the back seat.
