Man Flips Bus Full of Kids the Bird Outside Maple Dale

Man told police he was just mad at the world.

A 34-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested by Fox Point police after he flipped off a whole bus full of children near Maple Dale Middle School.

According to the report:

Around 8:15 a.m. on Feb. 10, an officer was on aroutine patrol behind a school bus in the 300 block of West Dean Road. As the bus came to a stop at North Port Washington Road, the officer noticed a man walking through the crosswalk and put up both middle fingers to the school bus. The officer noted in his report that the school bus was filled with many elementary aged children.

As the bus turned away, the officer noticed the man walking in the middle of the road (the left turn lane) still displaying his middle fingers to cars that were passing. The officer pulled into the driveway to have a talk with the man.

He began to deny flipping the kids off. He said he was just mad…mad at the world. The officer then noticed the smell of alcohol on his breath. He had a valid warrant through Germantown for possession of marijuana. He was taken to the Fox Point Police Department and picked up by a Germantown officer at 10 a.m.
