Man Volunteers Weed Stash to Bayside Police

When asked if there was anything in the car that shouldn't be, this 20-year-old just gave police a solemn nod of the head, then handed over his stash.

A 20-year-old Milwaukee man voluntarily gave up his marijuana stash when police pulled him over for suspended registration Thursday evening.

According to the report:

At 10:42 p.m. Bayside police were traveling north on Port Washington Road when they ran the plates of a passing car. The vehicle's registration was suspended due to emissions. Officers made a u-turn and pulled the car over in the 100 block of West Brown Deer Road.

While searching the car, officers found a glass, purple pipe that was still warm to the touch, and a black pouch containing another glass pipe lying in the center armrest. The baggie tested positive for marijuana and the driver was arrested for possession of THC and drug paraphernalia. At the station, officers noted the driver’s eyes were droopy, glassy and bloodshot and his clothes smelled like marijuana.

He was released to his father at 12:52 p.m.
