Near Head-On Collision Leaves Both Drivers Uninjured

Bayside woman drifts into oncoming traffic and swipes another vehicle.

A 79-year-old Bayside woman was cited on at 11:48 a.m. Saturday for operating left of the center line when she swiped a car heading in the opposite direction.

As she made a left turn from East Brown Deer Road into the southbound lane of North Lake Drive, she drifted over the double yellow line and partially into the left lane.Β  As another vehicle was heading in the opposite direction, she swiped the side of it, removing the bumper. Officers said that there were no injuries despite the near head-on collision.
