New Non-Emergency Number for Fox Point Police

Consolidated dispatch center in Bayside now taking all calls.

With the combination dispatching services for the seven North Shore communities, the has a new non-emergency number: (414) 351-9900.

According to a press release from Fox Point Chief Tom Czaja, the new number will be answered with "Police and Fire," instead of the individual police department. For a short time, the old number will still be effective and calls will be routed to the new number, however, after a period of time that number will be disconnected.

The new center, soon to be located at the , will serve as the main dispatch for both the North Shore police and fire departments, which include Bayside, Brown Deer, Fox Point, Glendale, River Hills, Shorewood and Whitefish Bay. According to Bayside police Chief Bruce Resnick, the new consolidated dispatch system could result in faster response times β€” particularly for 911 calls made from cell phones.

The number for Fox Point administration remains the same, (414) 351-8911, and for emergencies, residents are reminded to continue dialing 911.

Bayside's non-emergency/administrative number remains the same, (414) 351-8800.
