At Least It Wasn’t a Ford Mustang Boss 302

Shorewood police were left puzzled by a one-car accident in the village last week.

They believe a driver hit the gas, rather than the brake, backing out of her driveway. She traveled over a curb and a six-foot embankment before crashing into a tree.

Two people were taken to the hospital, though the driver was not among them.

An observant store clerk helped police catch three young thieves from a Mount Pleasant Kwik Trip last week.
