Assailants knew the man’s nickname and used it in the crime, when more than $2,000 cash and other valuables were stolen. When the man’s roommates — who had nothing stolen in the robbery — arrived home a couple hours later, they talked it over with the victim and they all decided not to call the police.

Three men were arrested in connection with the burning of an abandoned house last month. About three hours after setting the blaze, the men approached an officer directing traffic and wondered what all the fuss was about.

They were arrested within a week.

One underage man in Port Washington failed to follow both the law and common drinking etiquette.

Just after midnight on July 23, Port Washington Police noticed the 20-year-old man leaving (strike one), holding a pitcher of beer (strike two).

He was subsequently cited for underage alcohol consumption and underage person on a licensed premise.

Vandals stole a memorial marker from a park in Menomonee Falls, and .

Police say a second memorial was also removed from the park, a metal sign was thrown into the river and two smokers stations were pried open.
