OMG PD: The Odd and Odder from Police Reports

Is there anything more pure and innocent than the sweet music-box sound of the ice cream man's truck? Well, actually, yeah.

It's been immortalized on radio morning shows such as Dave and Carole and Kramp and Adler ... here's this week's installment of strange and incredible suburban crime, OMG PD.

There’s a two-Bomb-Pop minimum

If David Lee Roth of Van Halen really was the “Ice Cream Man,” .

And not a TV camera in sight

Sussex residents can rest easy knowing that .

At least he had a solid alibi

You could say a had it coming to him.

‘Do you know who I am?’

Mistake No. 1: Title-dropping at the McDonald’s drive-through. Mistake No. 2: .

Bet this never happened on Law & Order

A , but not because of debris thrown in his path, or gunfire, or a superhuman suspect leaping across traffic.

This is the worst writing ever. I hope nobody gets paid to waste their time doing this. Sussex is probably the worst city I have ever been to. The food places are ridiculously expensive, the bars are full of white trash from open to close and I have never seen a pretty woman in Sussex. If I was stuck living there, I would kill myself quickly instead of the slow agonizing, irritating death of having to wake up in the hell known as Sussex every day of my life. And btw, there is a cop or sheriff every 2 blocks just waiting to pull someone over to get more money for the city cause most of the people that live there are in low income apartments and don't pay taxes. The nicest place in Sussex is the pick n save and even that's a dump if you go in the back of it.

So, Chris - what city has the pleasure of having you as a resident?

Chris makes a good point. Kind of harsh with the white trash reference, but at least he is honest. I have been into a couple of Sussex businesses and the owners charge a ton for their respective products.

Chris you can always move to Menomonee Falls then tell us about Sussex.

Dave, thank you for a thoughtful comment, "...privatize the gains and socialize theRead More losses" gives a lot to think about. I also wish we had looked at restructuring the tax code to cover two unfunded wars.

“The state is only a year out of the recall mess that stalled any real change and any outsideRead More investment.” [WI = Mississippi II] What real change has been stalled? The “Love” Gov. Walker of yours has had his way with passing austerity, Neanderthal budgets, disenfranchising voters, repealing fair wages for women, Act 10, marginally crippling unions, because they invariably support the middle class and Democratic party, putting Billions on the credit card, and then, disingenuously claiming to have “balanced the budget” and created a huge surplus as well, and now – think small government here – is moving forward with ultrasounds for all women contemplating abortion, and we cannot forget the “mine” which, will create 700 low paying permanent jobs for Wisconsinites… all of these masterful initiatives have one thing in common: they are all tied up in the courts, and will not be resolved for years, and, the taxpayers of Wisconsin are all paying for Steve’s love affair with the “Love” Gov. Walker and his serial abortions… What will you say on June 5, 2014, when WI is the same as it is today or worse? I know. “Well, it is only 2-years out of the recall mess…”
