He told that people began arriving at the home about 7:30 a.m. and continued to 3:30 p.m., when the sale ended. After the sale was over, he couldn't find his laptop computer which he uses for work. He said he had kept it in the back bedroom with the door closed and that bedroom was not open to the public.

He admitted he did not escort everyone through the home and there was not constant surveillance of the bedroom. The employer confirmed the purchase price of the computer was $2,500.
