The following are summaries of reports from the Fox Point and Bayside police departments:
Vandalism: Unknown actors spray-painted a series of vulgarities on the side of a home in the 500 block of East MacArthur Road, according to Fox Point Police.
Neighbors noticed the vandalism on Halloween, when the owners of the victimized home were out of town. Police investigated and observed a broken window in addition to the spray paint, and UGG boot prints in the ground near the damage.
When the family returned to speak with police, they acknowledged that the window had been broken before they left. A check of the nearby boot prints did not match any of boots belonging to the homeowners, leading police to believe the vandal is a female.
The family’s school-age daughter could not provide any possible suspects, but when asked if there were any girls at school who did not like her, she said, “That would be half of my school.”
Disorderly conduct: A 37-year-old Port Washington woman was cited for disorderly conduct by Fox Point Police after being accused of spitting in the face of a Milwaukee man.
The altercation occurred in the 7800 block of North Port Washington Road. The 25-year-old man was in a disagreement with a 25-year-old Port Washington woman who is the mother of his child; the disagreement was over a health insurance card.
The 37-year-old — whose relationship to the younger couple is unclear — admitted to being “in his face,” but said she coughed and accidentally spit on him.
Underage drinking: Four teens were cited by Fox Point Police for a curfew violation and three added citations for underage alcohol consumption early on Oct. 29.
Three boys — a 14-year-old from Fox Point, a 14-year-old from Glendale and a 13-year-old from Glendale — were stopped by police while they walked along North Port Washington Road about 1 a.m. They told police they were walking to Maple Dale School to meet a girl. Police picked up the girl while the boys were patted down and a metal flask containing vodka was recovered from the 13-year-old.
He admitted to stealing the flask from his father; all three had blood-alcohol levels between .022 and .041.
Drunk driving: Bayside Police arrested a 29-year-old Grafton man for his third OWI offense about 10:30 p.m. on Nov. 2.
The man turned left at the intersection of Brown Deer Road and Port Washington Road despite having a red light. After being stopped he stumbled through field sobriety tests and registered a blood-alcohol level of 0.16 on a breath test. The man admitted he’d had about five rum and Coke drinks at a bar called Spanky’s Hideaway in Mequon.
Fence violation: Bayside Police delivered a $177 citation to a home in the 8700 block of North Pelhame Parkway for erecting a fence without a permit. The homeowner had previously been warned to either remove the fence or file for a permit.
Ditto for sign: Bayside Police also presented a manager at the with a $114 citation after the company erected a temporary banner advertising 99-cent coffee without a permit.
