Political Signs Continue to Disappear from Bayside Locations

Three more incidents were reported to police last week.

Three more incidents of stolen political signs were submitted to the Bayside Police Department last week.

They were reported July 14 in the 9200 block of North Pelham Parkway, Sunday in the 600 block of East Bay Point Road and also Sunday in the 8600 block of North Fielding Road.

  • At 1:45 p.m. Saturday officers found an overturned gray bicycle at the intersection of Brown Deer Road and North Lake Drive. Described as a gray, women’s β€œGiant” bike, but it has not been listed as stolen. Officers have the bicycle and it can be claimed by contacting Bayside Police.
  • Between 9:15 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. July 14 a wallet and car keys were stolen from an unlocked vehicle that was parked on the road in the 8800 block of Tennyson Drive. The wallet is valued at $50 and there was also $20 cash inside that was stolen.

In Fox Point last week, officers were dispatched to the 100 block of West Hampton Avenue at 8:13 a.m. July 12 to take custody of a subject with a valid Fox Point warrant. He was stopped by Whitefish Bay Police for a traffic violation.
