Man Learns Lesson the Hard Way: Don't Clean Glasses While Driving
Inattentive driving on Lake Drive leads to car accident.
Who knew that cleaning your glasses could be as dangerous as texting and driving? That's what this Cedarburg man discovered Thursday.
Around 1:24 p.m., a 49-year-old man was driving north on North Lake Drive and was distracted by his dirty glasses. While cleaning them, he failed to notice a 23-year-old Delevan man had stopped, had his turn signal blinking and was wait to turn left onto East Wahner Drive.
Those dirty glasses cost him a citation for inattentive driving from after he plowed into the back of the Delevan man's vehicle.
