Say 'Hello' to My Little Friend

A man entered a convenience store wearing a ski mask and holding ... well, something for which he didn't need a permit. This is our weekly weird crime roundup, OMG PD.

If you think nothing interesting ever happens in the burbs, think again. Patch is highlighting some of the more unusual crime news from throughout southeastern Wisconsin in our feature, "OMG PD."

What time is it?

It’s time to put that thing away, before it goes off accidentally.

Or else it’s Carrie Underwood

The suspect in this vandalism could be employed as a sketch artist in the previous incident.

Hey, neighbor!

Uncanny how we both like Ricky Martin’s music! Oh, wait …

Tour de Tosa

It’s hard not to giggle at this account of a low-speed chase in Wauwatosa.

Nowhere to go but up

Few positive things happen to people who are on the floor of a restaurant bathroom.

Trick or treat

Perhaps this woman would have been better off using Big League Chew.

A worse day than the Detroit Lions

Running down Highway 31 in your underwear is no way to kick off Thanksgiving.

"the clerk was unsure of how to handle the situation until consulting with her manager."
*********************** Trying to imagine how that conversation went.
Craig December 3, 2012 at 07:25 pm
Her reply should have been, "Time for you to put that thing away before I blast you with a 12 gauge."
Waiting until 10 am to talk to the manager to find out how to "handle" the situation is indicative of a lack of intelligence.

Waiting until 10 am to talk to the manager to find out how to "handle" the situation is indicative of a lack of intelligence.
****************** Why so judgmental? It could just be a lack of familiarity with the subject at hand...

Dave, thank you for a thoughtful comment, "...privatize the gains and socialize theRead More losses" gives a lot to think about. I also wish we had looked at restructuring the tax code to cover two unfunded wars.

“The state is only a year out of the recall mess that stalled any real change and any outsideRead More investment.” [WI = Mississippi II] What real change has been stalled? The “Love” Gov. Walker of yours has had his way with passing austerity, Neanderthal budgets, disenfranchising voters, repealing fair wages for women, Act 10, marginally crippling unions, because they invariably support the middle class and Democratic party, putting Billions on the credit card, and then, disingenuously claiming to have “balanced the budget” and created a huge surplus as well, and now – think small government here – is moving forward with ultrasounds for all women contemplating abortion, and we cannot forget the “mine” which, will create 700 low paying permanent jobs for Wisconsinites… all of these masterful initiatives have one thing in common: they are all tied up in the courts, and will not be resolved for years, and, the taxpayers of Wisconsin are all paying for Steve’s love affair with the “Love” Gov. Walker and his serial abortions… What will you say on June 5, 2014, when WI is the same as it is today or worse? I know. “Well, it is only 2-years out of the recall mess…”
