Stolen Fox Point Cadillac Recovered in Milwaukee

The thief stole the car from a recently deceased man's home. All that was left in place of the stolen car was the bike the thief rode in on.

A Fox Point man coping with the loss of his father was also the victim of theft when a Milwaukee man swiped the late father's Cadillac. 

The victim spoke to on July 2, saying someone had stolen his late father's bronze Cadillac. The vehicle was parked in the 7100 block of North Barnett Lane, unlocked, in the driveway in the rear of the home, with the keys in the center console.

He said the vehicle had been parked there for the past several months while he was settling his father’s estate. He last saw the car on June 27 and noticed it was missing around 1 p.m., but didn’t report it missing right away because he believed a family member had borrowed it. A bicycle was all that was left where the car had been parked.

On July 7, about 9 p.m., received a call from Milwaukee Police who said they had stopped the stolen Cadillac in the 3300 block of North 16th Street in Milwaukee.
