Student Accused of Making a Bomb Threat at Homestead High School
Suspect wrote graffiti in a bathroom stating he was going to blow up the school, police say.
A Homestead High School student is accused of writing a bomb threat inside a bathroom at the school Monday.
Kevin D. Bielert, 18, was charged in Ozaukee County Circuit Court Wednesday with one count of creating a bomb scare. If convicted, he faces up to 1 ½ years in prison and $10,000 in fines.

At 1:47 p.m. Monday, a Mequon police officer was alerted to a message inside a boy’s bathroom at Homestead that was written as pencil as graffiti. The message stated “Ima (sic) blow this school up I hate Homestead,” then went on to make derogatory comments about others at the school.
The officer was able to trace the comments back to Bielert after seeing writing’s on the student’s binder that matched the handwriting of the message and used the term “Ima.”

Bielert was assigned a $1,000 signature bond while awaiting trial.
