Thief Steals GPS, Loose Change and a Pack of Gum

Victim finds business and appointment cards left behind.

Two Fox Point residents were theft victims after someone trifled through their unlocked vehicles and stole everything from a pack of gum to a GPS. However, one man found that the thief left something behind - a slew of business and appointment cards.

A man in the 8500 block of North Manor Lane reported to that sometime between 9 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday, someone had rummaged through his unlocked company car that was parked in his driveway.

After looking through the vehicle, the victim said he noticed loose change was missing and the handle to the glove compartment had been damaged. He also noticed several business and appointment cards had been left behind after the thief left.

A 62-year-old man from Wausau was visiting his daughter in the 8500 block of Regent Road when someone stole his Tom Tom GPS, valued at $100, and a pack of gum from the center console of his unlocked car.

Saturday he noticed the vehicle’s hood was unlatched and the inside center console was open. He told police he believes the theft occurred sometime between 6:30 p.m. Friday and 1 p.m.
