Three Teen Intruders Escape Police

The boys left behind a backpack containing alcohol, a marijuana pipe and a hot mug of coffee.

A Fox Point man was a little startled last week when he came home to find a group of teenage boys coming in and out of his garage.

The man arrived at his home in the 1000 block of Fox Lane at 7:39 p.m. on July 31. He opened the garage door to find a teenage boy, who fled out of a back door. When the homeowner followed the boy to the side of the garage, he found a second boy running through his next door neighbor's yard.

The homeowner then went down the street and talked to his neighbor in an attempt to figure out the whereabouts of the two teenage boys. When he returned home, he found a third teenage boy standing in his driveway.

The boys were not caught by police, but they left behind a bike and a backpack containing a bottle of Absolut vodka, Bombay Sapphire gin, a small LED flashlight, a small marijuana pipe and a mug of hot coffee.

The homeowner said the rear entry door to the garage was left unlocked.
