On Jan. 3, a Fox Point police officer spotted Jansen driving northbound in the 6700 block of North Lake Drive without his headlights on and was pulled over. Once pulled over, it took Jansen more than 1 Β½ minutes to figure out how to open the door or window and at one point he opened the trunk while trying to turn on his headlights.
Jansen smelled of alcohol and told the officer he was trying to get to Town of Vernon. He failed field sobriety tests and a breath test revealed a blood alcohol level of 0.17.
