Underage Drinker Can't Complete the Alphabet

An 18-year-old Fox Point man caught driving drunk on Lake Drive.

Two 18-year-olds were driving along the 8600 block of North Lake Drive on Sunday at 3 a.m. and caught the attention of a Bayside police officer.

This Fox Point driver cruised at varying speeds, fluctuating between 45 mph and 50 mph in only a 30 mph speed zone. The officer flashed his emergency lights and pulled the man over.

As customary, the officer proceeded to ask the standard questions and mid conversation, noticed the scent of alcohol on his breath and that his eyes were glossy and bloodshot. When asked if he’d been drinking, he said "no," but said that his also 18-year-old girlfriend, the passenger in vehicle, had been drinking and he was driving her home.
