UPDATED: 112 Bayside Residents Without Power

All outages are under investigation and Village Manager Andy Pederson reminds residents to look to WE Energies for updates and not to flood dispatch.

Updated: As of 9 a.m. Tuesday morning, power was restored to all Bayside residents.

More than 100 were without power from the severe thunderstorms that swept through southeast Wisconsin Monday evening.

"WE Energies is on site to restore power to those affected by tonight's storms that passed through the area," Village Manager Andy Pederson said.

The WE Energies outage map shows of the 2,052 customers served in Bayside, 112 are without power as of 10 p.m. Monday night. Five locations are under investigation by WE Energies including sites along North Waverly Drive, North Broadmoor Road and West County Line Road. 

The , which handles all emergency calls for the seven North Shore communities and the , has maintained power throughout the storm. But Pederson said it's important residents remember to only call for emergencies, not for power outage updates.

"Residents are reminded to contact WE Energies to report outages to get the latest, up to date information on their website and to only call dispatch or police in an emergency or need for service," Pederson said. "Please do not call dispatch to ask when the power will be restored as all information they are receiving is coming from WE Energies."

At this time, there is no estimate on when power will be restored.
