The , which handles all emergency calls for the seven North Shore communities and the , has maintained power throughout the storm. But Pederson said it's important residents remember to only call for emergencies, not for power outage updates.

"Residents are reminded to contact WE Energies to report outages to get the latest, up to date information on their website and to only call dispatch or police in an emergency or need for service," Pederson said. "Please do not call dispatch to ask when the power will be restored as all information they are receiving is coming from WE Energies."

At this time, there is no estimate on when power will be restored.
