Bayside Clean-Up Days Recognized By Milwaukee Business Journal

The Business Journal's Eureka Award recognizes the village's annual Community Clean-Up Day and environmental sustainability goals.

Bayside is proud to announce that it will be awarded an inaugural Eureka Award by the Milwaukee Business Journal. The Village was selected in the Environment Category in recognition of the annual Community Clean-Up Day events and long-term sustainability goals.

The Eureka Awards recognize innovation and creativity in business, education, the arts and other programs for businesses, individuals and organizations throughout the Milwaukee area.

Thank you goes out to the Bayside Village Board of Trustees, Village Staff, the many volunteers at the events, and the partnerships that have been created to make this unique event a way to properly dispose of nearly every item one can have in their home in an environmental friendly manner. At the same, the Bayside community has stepped up and donated thousands of dollars and thousands of pounds of food to many charities over time from the event.

The Village looks forward to continuing on the path of environmental friendliness and sustainability. As always, you can bring in your old electronics, light bulbs, batteries, and cell phones to Village Hall during regular business hours for recycling. Also, make sure to mark your calendar for the first Bayside Clean Up Day, to be held Saturday, April 20 from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm.
