Construction Coming to a Street Near You

Bayside spending $1.1 million on over one mile of sanitary sewer and 14 street repairs

With brutal freeze and thaw patterns and heavy traffic, Wisconsin roads take a beating. Every two years, the identifies those roads in most need of repair, and this year, 14 made the list.

Bayside village leaders plan to spend roughly $1.1 million to repair those roads and nearly 6,000 feet of sewer lines that run beneath.

The village has identified the following 14 roads that are in need of repair:

  • North Rexleigh Drive, from Brown Deer to Fairy Chasm Road
  • Maitland Road;
  • East Glencoe Place;
  • East Glenbrook Road;
  • East Ravine Lane;
  • East Crocker Lane;
  • East Donges Lane and Road;
  • West Fairy Chasm Road, West of Port Washington Road
  • North Port Court;
  • West Ravine Lane;
  • West Jonathan Lane;
  • West Duchess Court;
  • Apple Blossom Lane;
  • North Sequoia Drive.

However, this list may change when contractors submit their final bids to Village Hall. This $720,000 construction project won’t begin until next summer.

While roads are ripped up and blocked off, the village has also bonded $410,000 to improve the sewer lines beneath the roads. They will reline, seal and test approximately 6,000 feet of sewer lines as well as rehab 44 manholes covers. This work will also not begin until next summer.
