Don't Delay, Recycle Today

Bayside residents don't need to wait until October for the village's cleanup day to get rid of printers, microwaves and all kinds of other non-traditional recyclables.

Bayside has partnered with a contractor to provide electronic recycling to services to residents year round.  If it has a cord or takes a battery, the Village will take it.  Here are a few of the most commonly recycled electronic items:

  • Computers and computer equipment;
  • Printers;
  • Radios/Stereos;
  • Refrigerators;
  • TVs;
  • Microwaves;
  • Vacuums;
  • Dehumidifiers; and
  • DVD players and VCRs.

Just bring the electronics to Village Hall.  If you have larger electronic items that you can't bring in like a refrigerator, washing machine, or stove, the Village will pick it up for a $75 special pick-up.  You can schedule and pay for this online or at Village Hall.  Please remember that under State law, it is illegal to throw away electronic items in your garbage.

You can also recycle old cell phones, ink cartridges, light bulbs, and batteries at Village Hall.
