Have You Seen This?: Fox Point and Bayside on YouTube
A local performance from the Milwaukee Choral Artists and another from the Nicolet Dance Team were posted to the popular video sharing site.
You don’t have to just read what’s going on in Fox Point and Bayside. Thanks to easy-to-use cameras and the video sharing service YouTube, there is plenty of video that provides a different look at the community. Here is what users have uploaded over the last few weeks:
- dance team performed last month at the golf outing for the high school booster club, uploaded by danceprincessmom.
- Train fanatics love the roar of the engines storming past, and user gumball469 provides a ground-level look at a Union Pacific freight train moving through Fox Point. Not much happens early, but then the horn blast picks you out of your seat.
- A big fundraiser for the Maple Dale Indian Hill PTO and Education Foundation is the Dragon Dash. This year’s event is Sept. 29 and user jeanmbernstein uploaded a nice photo gallery from last year — complete with a custom parody of “Monster Mash.”
- The Public Policy Forum presented its 2012 Intergovernmental Cooperation Award to the communities using North Shore consolidated dispatch. This video gives a look inside the center in Bayside.
- It’s not a busy time in the school district, but Nicolet grad Terrance Salter has uploaded some basketball highlight footage from his career with the Knights.
- The Milwaukee Choral Artists appeared at back in April, and some songs have just been uploaded this week. The group performed Sto mi e milo and Kresnice, among others.
