Pasch Comes Out on Top in Fox Point and Bayside

Lawmaker beats "fake" Democrat candidate Huber by more than 500 votes in each village.

Not only did state Rep. Sandy Pasch (D-Whitefish Bay) easily , but she also got the most votes in both Fox Point and Bayside.

Final unofficials results in the 8th Senate District show Pasch with 65 percent of the vote in the Democratic primary and Huber with 35 percent.

Fox Point

According to unofficial results, Pasch garnered 1,306 votes, or 58 percent of the vote, to Huber's 552 votes, or 42 percent of the vote. Voter turnout was 38.2 percent of 4,934 voters registered for this election.

Bayside

Pasch garnered 877 votes, or 64 percent of the vote, to Huber's 313 votes, or 36 percent of the vote. Voter turnout was 63 percent of 3,232 voters registered for this election.

After winning Tuesday, Pasch will square off against incumbent Sen. Alberta Darling (R-River Hills) in the Aug. 9 recall election.
