Politics and Popcorn: Watch Debate at Patch's Viewing Party

Be part of a discussion surrounding the first debate between President Barack Obama and GOP challenger Mitt Romney. This is a free event, but space is limited.

You don't want to watch Wednesday night's presidential debate alone, do you?

Then join Patch readers of both parties Wednesday night at a special debate viewing party at the Rosebud Cinema in Wauwatosa.

Whether you support President Barack Obama or challenger Mitt Romney, you're invited to this free party to watch the debate on the theater's big screen and then share your views on how the candidates addressed the issues you care about.

We're seeking Democrats and Republicans, undecided voters, small business owners, civic-minded citizens and those interested in the political process to participate in a civil but spirited discussion afterward.

The event begins at 7:30 p.m. with networking and trivia, and the Rosebud's kitchen will be open. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney are scheduled to debate between 8 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., and afterward Patch editors will talk with groups of attendees regarding their impression of the debate. The theater is located at 6823 W. North Ave. in Wauwatosa.

We'll also have Patch goodies for everyone — and there will be a drawing for a door prize when the party wraps up.
