I write this article from many perspectives, from being the Bayside Village Manager, a father of four, a motorist, a pedestrian, to someone who generally cares deeply about this issue. I have personally witnessed many vehicles not stop for people at waiting by the curb or even when people are in the crosswalk.Β I have even watched squad car dash cam video of one of our officers sandwiched between two cars, one headed westbound on Brown Deer Road and one headed eastbound on Brown Deer Road.
