Taking Part in 'Occupy Milwaukee'? We Want to Hear from You

If you are planning to attend Saturday's rally and protest in downtown Milwaukee, share your insights with Patch.

The "Occupy Wall Street" movement defined by protests against the financial elite throughout the country is coming to Milwaukee on Saturday, and Patch is looking to connect with local people who plan to attend.

Occupy Milwaukee is Saturday, with an 11 a.m. rally at Zeidler Park and a 12:30 p.m. protest at the Chase Bank building on Wisconsin Avenue. The group has a Facebook page and Twitter account, and WISN reports the group is already meeting with police to avoid some of the problems that have taken place elsewhere.

More than 100 people were arrested in Boston, reports the Washington Post, and about 700 were arrested earlier this month in New York, says the Daily News.
