Our Republican Congressional Delegation

President Obama’s promises on the campaign trail included an administration that would be both transparent and would have creating jobs as its main priority. But during his time in office, the President not only has put this country in more debt, he has failed to increase confidence in our national economy.

As a result, we in Wisconsin needed to have strong representation in Washington to make our voices heard. Thankfully, our Republican Congressional Delegation has represented our values and fought for our freedoms despite pressure from the Left. In doing so, they have led the fight to put our fiscal house back in order.

Congressman Paul Ryan, the Chairman of the House Budget Committee, is serving the 1st District and has laid out “The Path to Prosperity” in his budget proposals to help spur job growth. Paul’s budgets have offered a bold vision for putting our country back on track and a strong contrast to Obama’s failed record.

Wisconsin’s Jim Sensenbrenner, from the 5th District, has been a role model for fellow Congressmen, having served in the House since 1978. Sensenbrenner is one of the most well-regarded members of Congress who keeps the Obama Administration and government accountable.

Congressman Tom Petri, representing Wisconsin’s 6th District, has long seen success, serving since 1979. Having a record of pro-growth policies, Petri has long been a voice for small business, the heart of our economy here in Wisconsin.

In 2010, Wisconsin elected two Republican Congressmen who have already established themselves as leaders tackling the fiscal issues we face. Reid Ribble, representing Wisconsin’s 8th Congressional District, brings commonsense solutions back to Congress such as working to pass a balance budget and making government more efficient.

Congressman Sean Duffy, from the 7th District, was also elected in 2010, a seat previously held by Democrats for 40 years. His strong stance on limited government, liberty and personal responsibility has made him a very impactful member of Congress.

While we are working to move our state forward at home under Governor Walker, our Republican Congressional Delegation is fighting to put our federal fiscal house in order against the disastrous policies of the Obama Administration.
