Field Office Spotlight: Milwaukee

As one of the eight field offices throughout the state that the Republican Party of Wisconsin has opened this year, it is our responsibility to increase Republican support within the Milwaukee area. While it is early in the election cycle, energy is high and voters are thankful for the reforms brought forth by Governor Walker and the Republican team. Our office works to harness that energy and reach out to more voters.

With an estimated 800,000 unregistered voters across Wisconsin, it is vital that we do our part here in Milwaukee to reach out to this population in order to energize and grow our base for future victories.

Our Community Captains program, the first program of its kind in Wisconsin’s history, will be the key to another historic election cycle in 2014. As local leaders, Captains will recruit volunteers in their own communities, register potential voters, and ultimately turn out supporters on Election Day.

By knocking on doors and engaging in neighbor-to-neighbor contact, we will go back to campaigning like it was meant to be. These grassroots efforts will allow us to tap into the mass amount of unregistered voters in Wisconsin and spread our conservative commonsense message. The Community Captains will be essential to our efforts in their respective neighborhoods and communities.

As we saw in 2012, Wisconsinites overwhelmingly supported Governor Walker and Republican leaders in office. We cannot waste any time in 2013 to further improve on that success. By capitalizing on this momentum, we can increase our majorities in future elections. The Community Captains program will lay the groundwork for success in 2014 and beyond.
