Republican Party of Wisconsin Launches Voter Registration Drive

[Madison, Wis.] – The Republican Party of Wisconsin announced today the launch of a Voter Registration Drive, a statewide effort taking place for the first time in more than a decade.

“The initiative we’re launching today is a comprehensive effort to expand the electorate for success in 2014 and beyond,” said Joe Fadness, Executive Director of the Republican Party of Wisconsin.

There are an estimated 800,000 unregistered voters in the Badger State, and hundreds of volunteers will be deployed across the state to reach out to these Wisconsinites. As part of this effort, a microsite, pledgeyourvotenow.com, will serve as a tool for residents to find resources to become a registered voter.

“Our Party will actively work to find Republican supporters, encourage them to register, and ensure that they will vote in 2014,” said Fadness. “It’s time to get back to neighbor-to-neighbor contact, and this effort is part of our plan to build strong, community-centric organizations. “

The Republican Party of Wisconsin has already opened 8 field offices across the state as it works to build the Party, identify supporters and build coalitions that will contribute to victory next year.
