Wisconsin's Business Climate Continues To Improve

Since taking office, Governor Walker and Republicans have diligently worked to lower taxes and improve Wisconsin’s business climate. Together, we lowered the tax burden, balanced a massive budget deficit, and made it easier for job creators to grow.

As a result, Wisconsin is moving forward. Under Scott Walker our state was recently ranked second in the nation in economic outlook for the next six months by the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. It’s no surprise then to know that Wisconsin has seen thousands of jobs created and an increase in employer confidence.

Just this year, Governor Walker signed a budget providing nearly $1 billion in tax relief to help foster the business environment and spur job growth in Wisconsin. Job creators are responding, and the Badger State is open for business.

Wisconsin is especially seeing improvement in the manufacturing field and was ranked in the top five states for new manufacturing jobs by the National Association of Manufacturers. In fact, more than 70 percent of manufacturers and distributors in the state expect to add jobs or expand in the next 12 months.

With 94 percent of Wisconsin employers confident that the state is headed in the right direction, it’s safe to say that Governor Walker and the Republican team are putting Wisconsin’s economy on a path toward a brighter future.
