Carnival Cranks it Up at Maple Dale Middle School

Pony rides and rock walls kept kids busy when they weren't bouncing inside the four bounce houses.

Climbing rock walls, hopping through bounce houses and the toilet bowl toss brought families out into the sunshine for Maple Dale Middle School's annual carnival on June 3.

Pony rides, a DJ, and carnival games galore kept everyone busy for the afternoon. Families played toilet bowl toss, wheel of wow, treasure box and speed ball.Β 

The North Shore Fire Department supplied a ladder truck to give kids an inside look at how the fire trucks work, and music by the Maple Dale Jazz Band, choir and the Jon Lovis Quartet floated through the festivities. Β 

There were even door prizes from area businesses including a Teva Wellness spa package, , , , the Milwaukee Wave, , , Trader Joe's, , Metro Market, Outpost and Klement's.

"The weather was perfect, food delicious, and (there was) record attendance," said Jean Bernstein, Maple Dale-Indian Hill PTO member.
