TOPIC: Taxation with Representation - Who Decides and What’s Included?  
Through the ages, taxation is the most common way for governments to raise funds. But it’s a sticky issue:  what is a legitimate use of government funds? And who gets to decide—should the majority rule?  What are the risks taken when those who do not contribute to the tax burden get to help make tax law?  Judaic sources are clear: when it comes to taxes, one size does not fit all. Together, we’ll explore fascinating passages from the sages regarding tax rulings and apply their wisdom to the issues of today.
