Monarch Butterflies and Your Yard

Retired teacher Judy Kesser began raising and tagging monarchs in 2005 and last summer released close to 700 monarchs. Her hour-long power point presentation will cover the life cycle of the monarch, their Mexican winter sanctuaries, and threats to their survival. Kesser's  yard is an official monarch way station because she has both the host and nectar plants in abundance. All who attend will receive a packet of milkweed seeds.
